Dips & Dressings :: Tomato Salsa

1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 can whole peeled tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes - peeled & seeded)
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp marjoram
1 tsp chilli powder (or 1 fresh chilli, finely chopped)
Black pepper to taste
1 tsp hot chilli sauce

Put onions and garlic into blender until well chopped. Add drained tomatoes and seasonings until chunky. Heat mixture until boiling then simmer for 5 mins. Serve hot or cold.
