8 ripe nectarines
8 ripe apricots
½ cup orange juice or brandy
4 Tbsp sugar
*Can use pears in autumn
Cut fruit in half and remove stones. Place on BBQ. Drizzle with brandy or OJ. Sprinkle with sugar. Grill on high until sugar starts to caramelise (10 mins)
Citrus Passionfruit Cream:
250g (1 cup) cream fraiche (or natural yoghurt)
3 tsp lemon curd or fresh orange juice
4 fresh passionfruit
Icing sugar for dusting
Combine cream fraiche, lemon curd and passionfruit pulp. Place on side dish.
