1 ½ cups water
½ - 1 cup sugar
1 cup each of strawberries, raspberries and boysenberries (fresh or frozen)
Juice of 1 lemon
Combine water and sugar together in a pan and heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 2 minutes. Cool mixture. Puree the berries in a food processor and then sieve the pulp to remove the seeds.
Combine cool sugar mixture, berry pulp and lemon juice. Place in a metal bowl and freeze for 2-3 hours. Blend sorbet in food processor until smooth and return to the bowl and freezer until set.
