125g butter softened
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp hot milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add banana and mix.
Stir soda into hot milk and add to mixture. Sift flour and baking powder and fold into mixture. Turn into a greased and lined 20cm cake tin.
Bake at 180C for 30 mins. Leave in tin for 10mins before turning out.
